the next four years, if president obama is president obama again, what does the next four years look like in terms of his legislative priorities? >> the next four years is continuing on the path to growing this economy from the middle class out, investing in infrastructure, education, energy, implementing obamacare. there are many aspects left to be implemented so that all americans can fully realize the promise that was built by obamacare. so we are very excited about the next four years should president obama win, and we believe he will. >> thanks so much. appreciate your time on this sunday afternoon. >> thank you so much for having me. >>> everyone remembers the slogan "we like ike," but what does the former military general have in common with president obama? and what can mitt romney learn from him? the man who wrote the book on ike joining us up next. >>> plus, get aggressive or play defense? >> are you ready? >> i'm looking forward to the debates. i'll put it that way. >> we will break down debate strategy with our sunday brain trusts. well, i had all the classic symptoms...

vote for barack obama? he had so many chances during the campaign to carve out his own identity, which i think is closer to the real mitt romney. >> mark halperin? >> two events here in the city. he talked about his roles in the city. very educational. very educational show with brian. showed that he's a policy guy, cared about issues as the governor dug into him. but that mitt romney does not get very much attention and he doesn't put it on display very often. and it's now -- the thing he has to become is a fighter. he has to have guys like joe scarborough look at him every day and say he's fighting for the party, for the country, and fighting to turn the country around. i don't see that but if he doesn't see that. em's going to be very hard to keep the party behind him. >> what's coming up next, mika? >> coming up, from the nuclear tension in iran to the war in syria, can the u.n. security council come up with any solution? >>> "guys with kids" co-created by jimmy fallon. we'll talk with one of the stars.

now gallup shows president obama up by six. even really quite ostentatiously republican leaning rasmussen poll gives president obama a one-point advantage nationally. basically across the board in the polls that matter, in the states that matter, the obama campaign is ahead. things could change. we've got the debate starting next week. it's a long way to go, it's politics. anything could happen. right now the obama campaign is solidly and consistently ahead. tactically what that means is the obama campaign has to convert being ahead in people's preferences to actual votes. since they are clearly ahead a good time to get those votes cast is right now. because thanks to early voting people are casting ballots right now. so this lead that they would in the polls can be turned into actual votes while they're still ahead even if they don't end up being this far ahead by election day. iowa became the first swing state in the nation where voters are actually voting early in person. iowa has these really interesting rules where if you
